Job Summary:

Our client, a multinational company is looking for a General Manager Commercial to be based in Abu Dhabi. They are into OCTG, line pipe, and specialty pipe for the oil & gas industry. Reporting to: Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Develops and leads commercial strategy and provides commercial management and oversight for major competitive tenders and proposals during the pre-contract phase.
    • Responsible for leading pre-contract commercial proposal development and associated functions, including a variety of cost estimating, procurement, pricing, and partnering activities in coordination with other groups.
    • Recognizing business opportunities and making proposal to clients.
    • Strategically establishing, expanding, preserving, or improving company procedures, business flow, standards or policies.
    • Oversee contractual obligations from capture phase to contract closure - ensure that the contractual commitments undertaken are relevant and consistent.
    • Oversee projects and monitor plans to ensure deadlines are met, projects stay within budget and work is up to standard.
    • Provide commercial leadership to the cross organizational team with involvement of Operation and Finance team as well as Commercial team ensuring the best financial outcomes for the group.
    • Monitor the periodical sales achievement and investigate the gap from our target. Lead the team to improve performance.
    • Management of sales budget
    • Management of money collection in a timely manner
    • Continuous focus on the enhancement of ICV score with ADNOC.
  • Authority
    • Manage, direct, and monitor the overall performance of the commercial team.
    • Leading commercial negotiations with the client.
    • Develop plans for expansion and business development.
Requirements:
  • Experience / Education
    • 10+ Years Related Experience (Commercial, Budget Management).
    • Sufficient Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
    • University diploma / degree

    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
    • Success in sales or marketing and the ability to manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Solid knowledge of performance, financial and budgeting performance processes.
    • Strong decision-making ability
