Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally and a good understanding of basic accounting principles. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining daily accounting records, handling invoices and payments, and supporting the finance team with regular accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, vouchers, and payment entries.
- Maintain cash and bank transactions.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with VAT-related accounting and documentation.
- Prepare basic financial reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Support the Senior Accountant with day-to-day accounting activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Tally experience is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- UAE accounting/VAT experience is preferred.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
