Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding the company’s dealer network, developing new business opportunities, managing key customers and principals, and driving sales growth across the Water & Wastewater Treatment and HVAC Treatment solutions portfolio.
The role requires a strong combination of dealer management, project sales, customer relationship management, business development, commercial negotiation, and sales planning across commercial, industrial, and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the existing dealer network and ensure consistent sales growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas customers, including non-dealer accounts.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new dealers in line with the company’s business strategy.
- Support dealers with product knowledge, commercial requirements, quotations, and sales opportunities.
- Monitor dealer performance and identify opportunities for increased market penetration.
- Maintain regular and timely communication with dealers and customers.
- Develop new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, relationship building, referrals, and cold calling.
- Identify potential customers and projects within the commercial, industrial, and government sectors.
- Work closely with dealers and customers to introduce and sell solutions for:
- Water & wastewater treatment
- HVAC treatment
- Related technical and engineered solutions
- Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans aligned with company objectives for sales, revenue, profitability, and business growth.
- Drive the sales cycle from opportunity identification through quotation, negotiation, order closure, and handover.
- Prepare and deliver high-level sales presentations to customers and prospects.
- Manage commercial relationships and contracts with existing principals.
- Maintain regular communication with principals and provide timely feedback on market developments, customer requirements, sales opportunities, and competitive activities.
- Coordinate with principals to support business development and sales activities.
- Manage internal sales activities for all assigned principals.
- Identify opportunities to expand the market presence and product portfolio of existing principals.
- Prepare and maintain a robust sales plan aligned with company sales and growth objectives.
- Provide accurate monthly sales and revenue forecasts to the Sales Manager.
- Prepare market intelligence and competitor analysis reports.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline development, and conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, opportunities, quotations, and sales activities.
- Review customer enquiries and determine appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
- Prepare quotations, technical submittals, and other required sales documentation in coordination with relevant teams.
- Negotiate and finalize commercial terms, pricing, and contracts within approved company guidelines.
- Prepare risk committee documentation and cash-flow analysis for major projects.
- Ensure commercial risks and project requirements are properly assessed before order finalization.
- Coordinate closely with the Engineering Team to ensure a smooth and accurate handover of confirmed orders.
- Follow up on orders and ensure effective communication between customers, dealers, principals, sales, and engineering teams.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, dealers, consultants, contractors, and principals.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions that add value.
- Ensure timely responses to customer and dealer enquiries.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Represent the company professionally during customer meetings, presentations, negotiations, and business events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Dealer Management, Account Management, Territory Sales, Project Sales, or Business Development.
- Proven experience managing sales through dealers is highly advantageous.
- Experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment, HVAC Treatment, industrial solutions, or related technical products is preferred.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales and project-based business development.
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, planning, forecasting, and reporting abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to undertake international travel, particularly within the GCC.
