Job Purpose
Yard Marshall manages vehicle flow(Transport planner TP), storage, and safety at the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC). They ensure smooth traffic control, oversee shuttle operations, and enforce strict safety and quality standards while vehicles are staged, prepped, or loaded for shipping.

- The responsibilities and requirements for this role include the following key areas:Core ResponsibilitiesTraffic & Driver Control: Direct the physical movement of vehicles and transport trucks in and out of the yard, ensuring a smooth, congestion-free flow of traffic.Vehicle Staging & Logistics: Coordinate and execute vehicle transfers, shuttle routes, and parking locations according to the daily operational plan.Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, monitor team compliance with task protocols, and conduct daily safety and quality audits on the floor.Reporting & Documentation: Submit daily shift recap reports, maintain overflow documentation, and report equipment or operational issues to management.Team Guidance: Support and guide team members, ensuring that tasks like vehicle location scans and aged-vehicle identification are handled efficiently.
Requirements:
- Key RequirementsExperience: Prior experience in a lead, coordinator, or traffic/yard management role; Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to deliver clear directions to staff and act as the main point of contact for drivers and warehouse personnel.Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) for reporting and location tracking.
