Job Summary:
We are looking for a VPC Field Operator to join our Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) operations at KAEC. The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on vehicle processing activities, ensuring vehicles are received, inspected, prepared, and dispatched safely, accurately, and according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle receiving and check-in procedures accurately.
- Carry out vehicle car wash and interior cleaning activities.
- Insert owner’s manuals, warranty documents, and other required items.
- Perform GDS, interior, and quality inspection checks.
- Assemble and install PIO (Port Installed Options) parts and accessories.
- Apply wrap guards and protective film according to specifications.
- Prepare, stage, and load vehicles for shipment.
- Support vehicle dispatch and outbound operations according to the daily schedule.
- Print and verify delivery notes/invoices and ensure vehicle and destination details are accurate.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics carriers regarding vehicle collection and loading requirements.
- Scan vehicles and update status/tracking information in the system.
- Report any vehicle damage, shortages, defects, or abnormalities to the supervisor.
- Follow daily work assignments and meet required productivity and quality targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S standards.
- Follow all safety procedures, yard traffic rules, and PPE requirements.
- Check tools and equipment regularly and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Support on-the-job training and guidance for newly onboarded operators after completing the required training and qualification.
Requirements:
- Valid Driving license – Mandatory
- Open to candidates from all educational backgrounds.
- Previous experience in automotive, logistics, vehicle processing, warehouse, or yard operations is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform outdoor fieldwork involving walking, standing, bending, and repetitive tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Willingness to work in outdoor yard conditions, including heat, dust, and changing weather conditions.
