Job Summary:

The Quality Control professional will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and maintaining the quality and accuracy of daily and long-term stock. The role involves conducting regular stock inspections, identifying damages or discrepancies, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with warehouse and operations teams to ensure stock remains in acceptable condition and meets company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct daily quality inspections of vehicles/stock in the assigned storage area.
    • Perform regular inspections of long-term stock and identify any deterioration, damage, defects, or quality concerns.
    • Check vehicle/stock condition against established quality standards and inspection checklists.
    • Identify and report scratches, dents, missing parts, contamination, battery issues, tire conditions, or other abnormalities.
    • Ensure proper storage, parking, protection, and handling of long-term stock.
    • Conduct periodic quality checks on vehicles that remain in stock for extended periods.
    • Record inspection results accurately in the relevant system, checklist, or reporting format.
    • Maintain updated records of damaged, defective, or abnormal stock.
    • Coordinate with warehouse, VPC, maintenance, logistics, and operations teams to resolve quality-related issues.
    • Escalate major damages, repeated defects, or abnormal conditions to the supervisor promptly.
    • Follow up on corrective actions and ensure identified issues are properly addressed.
    • Verify vehicle/stock condition before movement, dispatch, or release when required.
    • Support stock reconciliation by verifying physical stock against system records.
    • Ensure proper identification and status marking of vehicles/stock.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and long-term stock quality reports as required.
    • Monitor stock condition during different weather conditions and ensure appropriate preventive measures are taken.
    • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and 5S standards within the assigned area.
    • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and yard traffic regulations.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inspection records and documentation.
    • Perform other quality control duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
    • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Logistics, Quality Control, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
    • Previous experience in automotive, warehouse, logistics, VPC, stock control, or quality inspection is preferred.
    • Experience with vehicle inspection or vehicle yard operations will be an advantage.
    • Good knowledge of quality inspection procedures and documentation.
    • Basic computer and system skills.
    • Good attention to detail and strong observation skills.
    • Good communication and coordination skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Ability to work in an outdoor yard environment and perform regular walking and physical inspections.
    • Valid KSA driving license may be required depending on operational requirements.
