Job Summary:
Position - Operations Manager
Job location - Riyadh
Purpose of the Role
To lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the family-owned company and its properties, while handling
selected private office responsibilities on behalf of the owner due to the family nature of the business,
allowing the owner to focus on higher-level strategic matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Company Operations Management (Core Responsibilities)
• Manage the daily workflow of the team (approximately 10 employees) and ensure tasks are completed
on time.
• Develop simple and effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) suitable for the size of the
company.
• Monitor performance through task management tools such as Asana, Trello, or similar platforms.
2. Property and Tenant Management
• Oversee the property portfolio, including buildings, land, farms, rest houses, and commercial facilities.
• Manage lease agreements, collections, renewals, and the Saudi "Ejar" platform.
• Communicate with tenants and address complaints and requests.
3. Maintenance and Minor Construction Works
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance teams on-site.
• Monitor finishing works, minor construction modifications, and renovations.
• Coordinate with external contractors and ensure quality of execution and compliance with
specifications.
4. Procurement and Supply Management
• Manage procurement of operational supplies, maintenance materials, and office equipment.
• Negotiate with suppliers and maintain an approved supplier database.
• Review procurement invoices before payment.
5. Human Resources and Team Management
• Oversee employees’ attendance, leave management, and daily supervision.
• Support recruitment, performance evaluations, and employee file management.
• Monitor residency permits (Iqama), insurance matters, and compliance with Ministry of Human
Resources regulations.
6. Financial Coordination with the Accountant
• Follow up with the accountant regarding operating budgets and expense/revenue reports.
• Review invoices and payments before obtaining the owner's approval.
• Prepare a concise monthly operational report for the owner.
7. External Relations
• Deal with government entities such as the Municipality, Electricity Company, Water Authority, Civil
Defense, and Riyadh Municipality.
• Coordinate with legal advisors and external accountants when required.
8. Limited Private Office Responsibilities (Due to the Family Business Nature)
• Organize selected appointments and administrative follow-ups for the owner related to company
business.
• Follow up on government transactions related to family-owned company properties.
• Manage and archive company documents, contracts, and asset records while maintaining strict
confidentiality.
• Monitor important renewals such as licenses, registrations, contracts, and subscriptions.
• Carry out limited trusted assignments directly delegated by the owner.
• Note: These responsibilities represent approximately 20% of the role; the primary focus remains on
managing company operations and properties.
Requirements:
- Required Qualifications and Experience
- • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Facilities Management.
- • 7–12 years of experience in operations management, preferably within family-owned or medium-sized
- companies.
- • Practical experience in property management, maintenance, and procurement.
- • Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong computer skills.
- • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a family-business environment.
