Job Summary:
One of our clients in Abu Dhabi is looking for Project Manager Civil (Sewage & Water Distribution Network), to supervise technically and organizationally the ongoing projects. As part of the site management team, the site engineer sharesresponsibility for security, health and safety, and the organization and supervision of material and human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, Laborers and operatives.- Sets out and surveys the site.
- Check plans, drawingsand quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Ensures all materialsused and work performed are as per specifications.
- Oversees the selection and requirement of materials.
- Manages, monitors and interprets the contract designdocuments.
- Liaises with consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, quantitysurveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Liaises with the local authority to ensure compliance with local regulations and by-laws.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7-10 years practical experience in Sewage and Water Distribution Network with possible additional training as per project.
