Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and organize materials while ensuring compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse or facility.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage racks.
- Move products to designated storage locations and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure accurate handling and storage of inventory to minimize damage.
- Follow all health, safety, and warehouse operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
