Job Summary:
One of our clients in Abu Dhabi is looking for Design Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven capability in the mechanical calculation, stress simulation, and structural design of pipeline leak repair clamps, high-pressure split repair sleeves, mechanical connectors, pig launcher and receiver systems, pipeline pigs, pig handling systems, monolithic insulating joints (MIJs), flow tees, headers, piping skids, and heavy pressure vessels.
Requirements:
- Required Design Software:
- ANSYS Workbench (FEA for static stress and pressure containment),
- PV Elite(Pressure Vessel Design),
- CodeCal,
- SolidWorks, and AutoCADDesign Codes:
- Absolute proficiency in
- ASME Section VIII Division 1 & 2 (for vessels with ASME "U" Stamp),
- ASME B31.4 (Liquid Pipelines),
- ASME B31.8 (Gas Transmission), and
- ASME B31.3 (Process Piping).Must be capable of generating technical design packages, material estimations, and establishing workshop quality control by writing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) protocols.
