Job Summary:

The Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing end‑to‑end procurement activities related to electrical, automation, and engineering materials. The role ensures timely sourcing, cost control, supplier management, and compliance with company policies while supporting project and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement & Sourcing
    • Source, evaluate, and procure electrical, automation, and engineering materials in line with project specifications
    • Identify and develop reliable suppliers and manufacturers
    • Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate technical and commercial offers, and negotiate best terms
    • Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules
  • Supplier & Vendor Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers and vendors
    • Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews
    • Coordinate with vendors on pricing, lead times, warranties, and after‑sales support
  • Cost Control & Commercial Management
    • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve cost savings
    • Analyze market trends and pricing to support budgeting and forecasting
    • Ensure procurement activities align with approved budgets
  • Coordination & Project Support
    • Work closely with engineering, projects, and operations teams to understand material requirements
    • Ensure technical compliance of procured materials with project drawings and specifications
    • Support project execution through effective procurement planning
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Prepare and maintain procurement documentation including purchase orders, contracts, and records
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
    • Support audits and internal reviews related to procurement activities
Requirements:
    • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles
    • Prior experience in electrical, automation, or engineering companies is preferred
    • Experience working with local and international suppliers
