Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior BIM Coordinator / BIM Lead (Manager) to provide strategic leadership for BIM activities across major construction projects. This role is responsible for managing BIM teams, defining standards and workflows, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, fully coordinated digital models.The position focuses on leadership, coordination, and decision-making rather than hands-on modeling, playing a critical role in aligning BIM strategies with project objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Coordination of BIM Models Across All Disciplines (Architectural, Structural, MEP)
- Define and Manage Clash Detection Strategies and Approve Resolutions
- Monitor Model Quality, Completeness, And Accuracy
- Approve Model Updates, Revisions, And Version Control Processes
- Establish, Implement, And Enforce BIM Standards, Protocols, And Workflows
- Approve BIM Templates, Libraries, And Modeling Guidelines
- Ensure Compliance with Company and Project BIM Requirements
- Monitor Adherence to Quality Benchmarks and Best Practices
- Advise Design and Construction Teams on BIM Integration Across Project Lifecycle
- Support the Use of BIM For Scheduling, Cost Estimation, And Project Planning
- Facilitate Coordination Between Consultants, Contractors, And Stakeholders
- Resolve Escalated Technical and Coordination Issues
- Lead, Mentor, And Manage BIM Teams
- Assign Responsibilities and Monitor Team Performance
- Develop Training Programs and Promote Knowledge Sharing
- Foster Innovation and Continuous Improvement Within the Team
- Prepare and Present Executive BIM Reports and Kpis
- Ensure BIM Deliverables Align with Overall Project Goals
- Oversee Audits, Compliance Checks, And Quality Reviews
- Approve Final As-Built BIM Models for Project Handover
Requirements:
- Proven experience in BIM coordination/management within large-scale construction projects
- Strong leadership experience managing BIM teams
- Experience in multidisciplinary coordination (Architectural, Structural, MEP)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- BIM certifications or professional accreditations (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices
- Expertise in BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, etc.)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project environments
