Job Summary:

We are seeking a BIM Engineer (Structural) to join our dynamic team and assist in delivering structural systems through BIM model development and digital workflows across the project. Reporting to the Senior BIM Manager and working closely with the BIM Manager, this role will contribute to the production, coordination, and technical documentation of structural models, ensuring they align with project requirements and approved designs.This position is highly production-focused, requiring active involvement in structural modeling, detailing, and the preparation of coordinated outputs using BIM tools. The role ensures accurate and timely delivery without over-reliance on external resources.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop, update, and maintain BIM models for structural systems (frames, slabs, foundations, etc.) 
    • Model structural elements in coordination with design intent and construction requirements 
    • Produce detailed layouts, sections, and structural details from BIM models 
    • Ensure models align with approved drawings and specifications 
    • Maintain model accuracy, consistency, and data integrity 
    • Use Revit Structure to generate model-based drawings and mark-ups 
    • Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP systems 
    • Identify and resolve clashes between structural elements and other disciplines 
    • Participate in coordination meetings and track issue resolutions 
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for effective coordination 
    • Support preparation of structural drawings and detailing outputs from BIM models 
    • Ensure alignment between BIM models and issued structural drawings 
    • Update models based on site conditions and RFIs 
    • Assist in developing as-built structural models and documentation 
    • Assist in preparing BIM inputs for RFIs and Technical Queries (TQs) 
    • Coordinate with site teams to ensure BIM reflects actual construction conditions 
    • Update models based on feedback from construction and site teams 
    • Develop knowledge of BIM standards and structural workflows 
    • Support the implementation of best practices and project standards 
    • Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives 
Requirements:
    • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in BIM modeling or coordination, with a focus on structural systems 
    • Proficiency in Revit Structure, Navisworks, and other BIM coordination tools 
    • Strong understanding of structural systems and detailing principles 
    • Familiarity with clash detection and coordination workflows 
    • Experience with BIM standards and processes (ISO 19650)  
    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field 
    • BIM-related certifications (preferred but not required)
