Job Summary:
Our client, a leading chemical supplier specializing in dyes, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Manager to establish and lead operations in Uzbekistan.This is a strategic leadership role that combines deep technical expertise in dyestuff operations with strong sales, lead generation, and business management capabilities. The successful candidate will drive both operational excellence and commercial growth, including building a strong customer base and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and operate pan mixers for dyestuff powder, ensuring strict adherence to customer formulations
- Manage dyestuff formulation and color matching to meet precise client specifications
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure product consistency and compliance
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize mixing processes
- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and QC data
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Drive lead generation and customer acquisition across Uzbekistan and nearby markets
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline (B2B – textiles, dye houses, industrial clients)
- Establish relationships with distributors, agents, and key accounts
- Provide technical sales support, including product recommendations and troubleshooting
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals with new and existing clients
- Act as the primary representative of the company in Uzbekistan
- Develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies
- Oversee P&L, budgeting, and financial performance
- Lead recruitment, team building, and people management
- Align local operations with Headquarters’ strategy and objectives
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and business performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in:
- Dyestuff production or dye house laboratory
- Dyestuff formulation, color matching, and quality control
- Proven experience in sales, business development, and lead generation within chemicals/dyes industry
- Strong leadership and managerial experience
- Solid knowledge of:
- Dyestuff handling and powder processing
- Quality control methods and testing tools
- Safety and environmental regulations
- Experience with powder handling equipment and troubleshooting
- Strong commercial acumen (pricing, negotiation, P&L)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English (additional regional languages are a plus)
- Ability to work independently in a startup or expansion environment
