Job Summary:
One of our clients in Jeddah is looking for Head of Engineering & Maintenance .
To provide strategic leadership for the entire engineering and maintenance function, ensuring the safety, reliability, and availability of all railway assets (Rolling Stock and Infrastructure) to meet commercial operational demands.
Acting as the primary bridge between Technical Services and Operations, this role is responsible for optimizing the asset lifecycle, driving cross-functional coordination with Safety, Quality, and the other areas involved in the operation and maintenance of the railway.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Define and execute the comprehensive engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with the company business goals and service requirements.
• Coordinate the workflows and technical objectives of the multidisciplinary engineering management team (Rolling Stock, Infrastructure, Systems, and Power), ensuring integration between disciplines and consistent performance standards according to the existing requirements (contractual and regulatory).
• Coordinate departmental resources planning to ensure that company demands and maintenance peaks are met efficiently.
• During incidents, coordinate all the different disciplines with the Operations Control Center (OCC) to provide immediate engineering assessments, estimated times of repair, and technical workarounds to restore service safely.
• Coordinate and make sure that operational feedback is considered in the different maintenance activities.
Requirements:

- • Minimum 12 years of experience in the railway sector or heavy industry.
- • Strong background in engineering and maintenance of leadership.
- • Experience in contract management and client-facing roles.
