Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and site supervision, ensuring successful project execution in compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope
- Oversee site activities including resource allocation, subcontractor coordination, and progress monitoring
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with design teams, architects, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications
- Prepare, review, and manage project documentation including reports, contracts, and permits
- Implement risk management strategies and proactively resolve construction-related issues
- Optimize construction methods and material usage to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Lead, mentor, and train junior engineers and site personnel
- Maintain effective communication with clients, government authorities, suppliers, and internal teams
Requirements:
- 12–15 years of relevant experience in the UAE (mandatory)
- Proven experience in:
- Civil construction
- Infrastructure development
- High-rise building projects
- Government projects
- Strong background in Quality Management, Health & Safety (QHSE)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil preferred)
- ESTIDAMA certification – Advantage (not mandatory)
