Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished senior leader to drive and scale a next-generation mobility business, delivering integrated transport solutions including ITS, traffic/tunnel control systems, EV infrastructure, and fleet/MaaS services. This hands-on role combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and commercial oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap, aligning technical, operational, and commercial objectives.
- Lead delivery of complex ITS, traffic control, tunnel, and EV infrastructure projects on time, on budget, and to specification.
- Own P&L, develop revenue models (services, SaaS/MaaS, O&M, concessions), and drive sustainable growth.
- Provide senior technical guidance; oversee product/service development and integration of emerging mobility solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, manage business risks, and implement continuity/emergency plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, municipalities, transport authorities, and private partners.
- Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, fostering a performance-driven, safety-first culture.
- Identify opportunities for operational optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Transport Planning, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced qualification preferred.
- 10–15 years’ experience in transport systems, ITS, traffic management, or EV infrastructure, with at least 5 years in senior leadership/GM roles.
- Proven record delivering complex transport projects and managing P&L.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in tendering, contracts, and partnership development.
- Technical knowledge of ITS, SCADA/tunnel control, EV ecosystems, and telematics/IoT platforms.
- Experience working with government agencies; UAE market experience preferred.
- Strategic thinker, decisive, and able to lead diverse teams in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English; Arabic highly desirable.
