Our client, a leading catering company is looking for a Business Development Executive – Healthcare & Educational Catering to be based in Dubai.
Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive for Healthcare and Educational Catering will be responsible for driving growth and expansion within the educational and healthcare catering sector. This role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and ensuring that catering services are tailored to the unique needs of the educational facilities, and healthcare environments, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the education and healthcare sector.
- Analyse competitors and market conditions to develop strategic plans for growth.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and secure contracts with education and healthcare facilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and issues, providing solutions that meet their needs.
Proposal & Contract Management:
- Prepare and present proposals and bids for new contracts, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
- Negotiate contract terms and manage contract execution to ensure compliance and client satisfaction.
Service Customization & Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the Head of Operations to customise menus and services for education and healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and nutritional requirements.
- Monitor service delivery to maintain high standards of quality and address any issues promptly.
Networking & Industry Engagement:
- Attend industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to build relationships and promote the company’s services.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Sales & Marketing:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase visibility and attract new clients.
- Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns targeting healthcare facilities.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Track and report on sales performance, client acquisition, and business development activities.
- Analyse performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the catering, education or healthcare industry.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the education, and healthcare sector and their respective catering requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
