A leading multinational health care product manufacturer and distributor typically engaged in wound management, seeks to hire a CFO/Finance Director for Jeddah location in KSA. Candidates with excellent academic records and proven expertise in financial management within a global or multinational company's are welcome. Job Purpose

  • Lead local finance team and drive all financial related activities to protect financial health of the company and secure compliance with applicable policies, statutory law and regulations.
  • Act as local management team member, support local management and shareholders to achieve short- and long-term strategic objectives, provide advanced financial analytics, performance follow-up and reliable tools and data securing informed decision making.
  • Making financial performance management easily understood my non finance colleagues, by translating it into actionable advice, instructions and ways of working.

Accountability

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, policies and shareholders’ requirements, implement changes to secure local adherence throughout the organisation; Manage and lead organization with awareness of all requirements and perform associated roles and responsibilities (including internal control).
  • Drive a finance function with a mindset of financial internal control and compliance followed by a mindset of integrity
  • Act as management representative toward internal and external bodies (regular communication and audit/inspection), protect company's image and property, and implement appropriate controls to prevent deterioration, loss or misuse. 
  • Secure up to date and maintenance of financial data record in order to keep the system clean and reliable. Manage day-to-day financial transactions derived from the full company activities (sales, manufacturing, supply chain, cash management, etc.).
  • Secure effectiveness and continuously improve efficiency of key financial processes including but not limited to account to report, order to cash, purchase to pay, asset management and financial control. 
  • Provide advanced analytics, financial insights focusing on value drivers (reporting and forward looking), easy to access and understand for all to secure informed decisions.
  • Act as business partner, drive the team identifying and implementing actions and risks mitigations to execute our strategy deployment, improve performance to achieve our goals and drive value creation.
  • Co-ordinate short- and long-term forecast process with the management team so that management objectives are translated into figures and targets
  • Lead the standard cost calculation to reflect the reality of manufacturing production costs
  • Own internal and external financial reporting, including local statutory accounts as well as operational reporting to local management and to owners (P&L, BS and variances analytics)
  • Manage local S&OP process jointly with commercial and supply-chain business partners.
  • Co-ordinate investment request process, prepare financial analysis (NPV, payback), produce business cases together with management for larger investments, keep record of approvals and perform follow-up of implementation according to plan (targeted outcome, cost and time)
  • Lead local Finance department, provide coaching, development, and support team members in order to secure development of competencies, efficient resource planning, stimulating working environment and employee engagement. 
  • Keep a close dialogue and transparency towards the board and the owners of the company
  • Keep a close, open and honest dialogue to the CFO and finance function of the entity, to whom you functionally belong to, and who is stipulating many of the policies, procedures and reporting guidelines to be adhered to.
  • Keep a good relationship to external stakeholders such as auditors, tax authorities and banks, as appropriate.

  • Approval of investments and expenses (according to policies)
  • Any authorization as Director in accordance with company affidavit
  • Sign banking and payment documents (according to policies)
  • Financial data maintenance (eg. Costing and other master data)

  • Hire/Fire, changes in finance organizational structure
  • Investments and payments (according to policies)

 

Qualifications and expertise

  • Experience in leading a Finance function, preferably with both commercial and manufacturing components
  • Credible to all levels of the organization and Joint Venture partner representatives.
  • Required qualification to execute statutory account reporting in KSA
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an international environment in various financial management positions
