BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - IT (RETAIL)   (33916)

 

Our client, an IT Services & Solutions company in the GCC region is seeking to hire a Business Development Manager for their office based in Riyadh.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive IT/Digital services sales in Retail industry with nurturing business development capabilities and developing customer problem centric value propositions
  • Manage digital/IT services and products/solutions sales in Retail industry across multiple segments – Offline/Brick & Mortar (supermarkets, specialist retailers etc.) as well as online retail etc.
  • Provide thought leadership and act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Retail industry
  • Define the Go-To-Market (GTM) approach and plan for the Retail industry
  • Identify, assess and capture new accounts in the Retail industry and manage existing customer relationships & growth
  • Conduct Retail industry-focused IT services market analysis to understand customer insights, challenges & market trends, and to identify opportunities and present digital value propositions/solutions to customers
  • Manage opportunity pipeline and meet sales performance goals. Prepare sales reports of wins, losses, inhibitors and net new opportunities
  • Manage sales-focused (RFP submissions, commercial proposals, client presentations, pitches, relations etc.) activities in collaboration with cross- functional teams
  • Develop business/technology partnerships in the industry

 

 

Education & other requirements:

 

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in business, commerce, technology or other equivalent degrees
  • 10-15 years of IT/digital sales experience (esp. in Saudi Arabia & GCC market)
  • 2-5 years of IT services sales experience in the specific domain – Retail
  • Expert level understanding of market, business, operations and digital technologies in Retail industry
  • Sales skills: building relationships, communications, client needs analysis, account planning, sales pipeline management, negotiations
  • Understanding of IT services like Application integration, Data & Analytics, Cloud, products, Managed Services etc.
  • Nice to have experience in System Integrators/tech consulting/ technology firms
  • Behavioral/Leadership skills: Engaging, collaborative, strategic thinking & planning, problem solving, team management & coaching etc.

 

Salary: SAR 27000 – 39000
