Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Arabic Cook to prepare authentic and high-quality Arabic cuisine. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of traditional and modern Arabic cooking techniques, be creative with menu planning, and maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide range of Arabic dishes including mezze, grilled items, rice-based dishes, stews, and traditional desserts.
- Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented to high quality standards.
- Follow recipes and adjust as needed based on portion control and customer preferences.
- Monitor stock and order ingredients as required to maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen according to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Assist in developing and updating the Arabic food menu based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure all food items are stored properly and inventory is well-managed.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Arabic cook or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Arabic and Middle Eastern cuisine (Levantine, Gulf, North African, etc.).
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food safety procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or relevant culinary training preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
