Our client, a global market leader in international parcel and courier services is looking for a Country Sales Manager to handle UAE market.
·Responsible and accountable for leading the national field sales organization from a strategic position and also driving the tactical deployment of sales policies, processes, initiatives to deliver year on year business growth in line with the monthly, quarterly and annual budget expectations.
·Influences, supports and directs market acquisition and retention strategies, in order to maximise sales performance and leverage their competitive advantage.
·Helps optimise the sales organization to drive efficiencies, high productivity and maximise our bottom line profit contribution whilst working in consultation and collaboration with Country - Sales, Finance and Operations.
·Influences and supports setting and deploying the annual sales business plan which includes setting strategic priorities and quantitative growth strategies.
·Assists in defining, creating and executing Channel strategy that delivers the right mix of product at the right price which is complementary to Parcel and Courier business plan.
·Help create and communicate all sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives to ensure that they are fully costed, fully understood, on brand, deliver value and are delivered to the required group standard.
·Accounts for market growth and customer retention.
·Supports customer strategies, contract negotiations and supply chain management strategies.
·Strategic and innovative thinking to influence and change ways of working to improve or grow business performance and maximise our margins, creating value add solutions.
·New business growth targets area achieved via the development and communication of the strategic business plan where appropriate detailing objectives, targets, milestones, deliverables and accountability.
·Grow and maintain excellent relationships with other areas to ensure company procedures are defined appropriately to meet new business needs, ensuring customer service levels are achieved and customer satisfaction maintained.
·Monitor the overall sales revenue performance by depot and by individual sales person and the main KPIs by reference to through weekly and monthly sales reports and published information on a weekly monthly basis.
·Review the sales performance of each individual line report and depot location through a quarterly review process assessing all aspects and holding the team to account.
People management responsibilities:
·Manage a team of Sales Executives, Field Account Managers, Territory Sales Managers and Customer Development Managers who will generate, manage, develop and protect revenue, revenue quality margin within their own areas of responsibility within the allocated sales territory.
·Leads and manages the team/s, determines regional team structures, roles and performance targets in co-operation with division leadership, commercial, finance and ultimately Country Manager.
Requirements for the role:
·Divisional experience: Proven industry experience with a good understanding of all aspects of distribution.
·Functional experience: Minimum 10 years of Sales and management experience.
·Geographical experience: Knowledge of local region essential. Knowledge of UAE and GCC market is required.
·Education/ Qualification/ Certifications requirements: Graduate / Master Degree. Sales professional qualifications will be an advantage.
