Objective of the role: 

The project manager will be the face of the network in front of its partners. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers may work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support. Project managers might work by themselves, or be in charge of a team to get the job done.

Roles and Responsibilities:

    Coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects

    Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

    Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

    Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

    Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

    Work closely with the Executive Producer and Production team to execute the project as per     the network’s standards.

 Experience required:

    Proven working experience as a project administrator in the media sector

    Solid understanding or hands-on experience in dealing with high profile clients

    Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

    Experience and knowledge of competitive media landscape

    General understanding of the production process, ability to analyze and to implement insights

    Scheduling and planning experience (long and short forms, etc.)

 Knowledge and Skills:            

    The candidate is used to see the bigger picture, to consider different perspectives, to think in a creative way

    is a hands-on person, who doesn’t hesitate to start working on scripts, plans, budget files, edits, contracts etc. by herself/himself whenever required

    is proficient with excel and PowerPoint

    knows how to deal with conflict management

    is very fluent in English and Arabic, written and spoken.

    is a very good listener, with good communication skills

    has the ability to set strategic direction

    knows how to survive in a stressful environment, doesn’t panic, knows how to multitask, what to prioritize, what and whom to delegate to

    knows how to balance day to day workload with urgent requests coming from the head offices (Hong Kong or Los Angeles)

    is mature, confident, fair, doesn’t play and/or encourage office politics

    has a track record and reputation for conducting business with high standard of integrity

    is used to interact with colleagues and business partners coming from very different cultures and backgrounds, is mindful and respectful of cultural sensitivities

 Key relationships:

    Work with a variety of stakeholders

    Reporting to the Head of Production in the Middle East (based in Dubai). 

    Local close relationship with the VP Finance, Middle East; the Marketing Director, Middle East.
