GENERAL MANAGER   (33670)

Nadia`s client, a prominent contracting company into two divisions Lining Division and Civil / Electromechanical / Instrumentation Works requires a General Manager with minimum 15 years related experience preferably in the same field with contracting companies.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Responsible for providing the strategic direction and leadership to the organization in achieving its organizational objectives as provided by the Managing Director.
  • Directs the business with an objective of providing maximum profit and return on invested capital; establishing of short, medium and long term objectives, plans and policies and ensure its timely implementation across the organization.
  • Serve as a chief spokesperson for the company, assuring the proper representation of the company in order to enhance its image.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans, directs and manages all activities related to the Company’s Strategic and Business Planning.
  • Ensures budgetary control and implementation of procedures to ensure the full satisfaction of clients.
  • Carries out regular performance reviews and overall accountability of the Organization.
  • Participates in all activities for QMS as required by MR
  • Plans business development, employee welfare and skill development
  • Supervise QMS awareness and implementation in the Company.
  • Maintains relevant files and documentation as per QMS requirements.
  • Improves the company’s image with the goal of becoming the market leader.
  • Motivates all employees to meet company objectives and to practice a high level of quality standard.
  • Ensures employee satisfaction and healthy working environment as per requirements of QMS standards.
  • Ensures over all growth of the company and profitability.
  • Ensures Quality of finished products meets customers requirements
  • Identifies training and resources needs as per requirement of operation and QMS.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: University Graduate

Relevant Experience: Minimum 10 years related experience preferably in the same field with contracting companies

Technical Knowledge:

  • Sound understanding and experience in strategy development / business planning
  • Experience in planning and delivery of high value projects with government and private sector

Computer Skills:

  • Good computer skills (MS Office)
  • Good Communication Skills

Language Ability:

  • Good command of English.
  • Good command of Arabic

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Office-based. Travel to client site as and when required.
