Our client, an oilfield equipment manufacturer based in Jebel Ali is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager.

You will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and/or development processes.

Responsibilities:

Standardize, improve, and maintain a Quality Management System 

Initiate and improve standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation  

Develop, implements and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery

Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products

Coordinates product testing processes

Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff

Be a Management Representative during Audit and Client’s Audit

Participates in product testing

Performing an Internal Process Audit based on the Internal SOP, International Specification, and Industry Specification (ISO 9001, API Q1)

Initiate, Investigate, Evaluate and Validate any Quality to be raised as Corrective and Preventive Action (Audit Findings, Supplier Performance and Internal Issue)

Reviewing of Internal Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) annually and revising if necessary

Develop KPIs to measure the success of the QA initiatives

Providing quality training programs for employees

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or similar Engineering

Understanding of drilling tools and equipment, inspection requirements and references 

Familiar with inspection of all products and services as per quality plan and specification

Experience within management roles

Must have experience in API Q1
