Our client, a multinational company is looking for an Arabic Speaking Sales Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi.
Report to: Commercial Manager
Key Responsibilities:
· OCTG and/or related steel products sales and services for oil & gas companies in Abu Dhabi.
· Support the Commercial Manager to maintain high levels of customer service & timely responses to inquiries.
· Manage customer inquiries; prepare initial responses and gather necessary information for the Commercial Manager's review
· Daily Communication with Clients in Abu Dhabi.
· Payment Collection, (follow up customer payment against Invoices).
· Coordinating with mill/machine shops (price negotiation, meeting arrangement, order placement, production progress monitoring, etc.).
· Customer order execution and delivery arrangements coordinating with sales assistant and operations team.
· Seek opportunities for business expansion and add value to customer.
· Negotiates with clients, vendors, suppliers, affiliates as well as internal functions effectively with ability to influence the decision-making process.
· Ensures clear and concise communication and report within the team.
· Understands client’s needs and requirements.
Authority
· Manage customer inquiries by preparing initial responses
· Prepare commercial proposals to customers.
· Maintain organized records of all quotations received and ensure timely follow-up
Experience / Education
· Minimum 2 years related experience.
· Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
· Strong understanding of the GCC market, particularly in OCTG and related products, sourcing, and pricing strategies
· Strong understanding of commercial strategies, contract management & financial analysis
· Ability to analyze and respond to market trends, demand cycles and pricing fluctuations in the steel industry, particularly in the GCC and global markets
