Our client, a premium specialty cafe nurtured in UAE seeks a General Manager for their Abu Dhabi division. Managing multiple locations, experienced incumbent must be adept in conceptualizing and implementing the success strategy from managing the sales, human capital and championing the recipe designs. Potential applicant must fulfil the below skill set to compete.
·Demonstrate supervisory and leadership ability in managing cafe or operations manager
·Business development and marketing acumen
·Build and design strategies for profit maximization and revenue margin leverage by increasing total sales
·Train employees on F&B preparation and proper use of coffee equipment and new recipes
·Design new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences
·Human capital management that includes new hiring, performance appraisal and L&D
·Conflict management in small groups and grievance resolution as and when required
·Ensure complete and timely execution of customer requirements
·Excellent knowledge in HSE and food & hygiene.
·Monitor and meet the performance standard, including but not limited to core values, and standard operating procedure
·Ability to work well and collaborate with others in a very team-oriented environment
·Maintain and foster an owner mentality among self and all subordinating managers.
·Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
·Excellent interpersonal communication and team management skills
·A relevant degree or certification in hotel management or culinary discipline
