INFORMATION SYSTEM ANALYST   (29736)

A multinational automotive company is looking for an Information System Analyst. Preferably currently working or with experience from the similar industry.

 

Purposes of the job

The role of the Information System Analyst is to:
•    Ensure the day-to-day IT operational support of the subsidiary.
•    Manage the subsidiary IT department in accordance with development projects validated locally and / or by headquarters.
•    Implement the IT Group policy (Internal control, JSOX, KAIZEN, GDPR, others...).
•    Ensure IT and data security.
•    Manage the IT equipment, software and users (accounts, access rights etc.).

Position in the organizational structure and counterparts
•    Job Position: Reporting to the MD / FM.
•    Internal counterparts: All departments.
•    External counterparts: Automotive IT and Corporate IT, external service providers.

Tasks

INVOLVEMENT IN COMPANY AND GROUP PROJECTS
•    Responsible for carrying out the assigned projects (collection of needs, compliance with priorities, deadlines, and budget envelopes).
•    Secure the resource (material and human) provided to carry out the assigned missions.
•    Conduct and organize training in the utilization of the developed tools. Involvement in the company business interruption plan & the annual DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) tests to ensure that replication of data works properly and is accessible.

ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT
•    Involvement in the definition of general specifications.
•    Carry out the technical analysis and detailed specifications.
•    Adapt and set up the systems according to the guidelines from the group IT teams. Carry out prototyping & tests, identifying and resolving malfunctions.
•    Ensuring the proper organization of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
•    Manage the qualification and validation of deliverables.
•    Corrective and progressive maintenance.
•    Write the system documentation.

SUPPLY CHAIN / LOGISTICS / FINANCE / HUMAN RESOURCES SUPPORT
•    Level 1 & 2 support on the various IT systems.
•    Involved in corrective maintenance actions.
•    Suggest improvements to optimize existing resources and their organization.
•    Implement the IT directives given by Automotive IT and Corporate IT.
•    Apply the Group IT security policy.
•    Deal with the Group IT regarding any request for support on applications which requires more skills than locally available.

OFFICE SUPPORT
•    Manage and maintain the IT equipment (servers, PCs, printers, CCTV and phones).
•    Ensure the validity of licenses (Office, etc...) and manage the O365 environment.
•    Ensure compliance with group rules, especially in terms of safety.
•    Provide the hotline of level 1 for Security and Network users (Switches and Firewalls).

Technical skills

Distributor module of an ERP software (especially in International Trade & Logistics application) and SQL
•    Collect business needs, perform business process analysis, and develop the appropriate modules.
•    Follow the development cycle in accordance with the roadmap defined by IT Automotive Dept: analyse, develop, test, train and document company specific programs.
•    Manage the training of ERP users.
•    Improve the development life cycle, process, and development workflows.
•    Maintain accurate / complete documentation related to the various development projects

Office Support
•    Install, maintain, and troubleshoot the IT
•    equipment. Ensure the renewal.
•    Diagnose and correct malfunctions described by users.
•    Identify the needed resources to resolve malfunctions.
•    Settings for users' workstations according to their needs. Implement all required tests beforehand.
•    Ensure preventive maintenance.
•    Ensure that servers and PCs backups are efficient.
•    Manage users and access rights on O365.
