A leading project and architectural design consulting division in Dubai seeks to hire a project manager. Successful incumbents must fulfil the below KRA's to be eligible for the role. Potential incumbents with a minimum of 5-7 year's work experience as a project manager in arch/design consulting division and bachelor's/masters degree in civil/arch engineering and master's degree in project management are highly preferred.
General requirement
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings
- Monitor performance and mitigate risks
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various key stakeholders
- Drive vendor selections and negotiations
- Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution
- Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
- Lead projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close
- Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand capabilities for the organization
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Negotiate vendor contracts
