Our client, a leading healthcare sector based in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain is looking for Hijama Therapists preferably relevant licensed candidates based in UAE. Client is one of leading medicine centers providing all types of therapy like cupping, Chinese, Swedish, Hijama, Ayurveda, homeopathy and physiotherapy.


Job Responsibilities and main tasks:


·        Candidate should be able to practice alternative medicine and should be able to communicate with patients in order to develop a detailed case history, comprising psychological, emotional and physical symptoms and characteristics.

·         Prescribe and/or administer herbs, vitamins and dietary supplements.

·         Provide guidance and education to patients about managing their health.

·         Keep records of patients' medical histories.

·         Treat patients using Oriental medicine and cupping.

·         To refer patients to specialists and consultants in hospital departments.

·         To provide skilled health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services.

·         To document all care provided and education/information given to patients within their health record.

·         To use alternative medicine remedies to treat a range of conditions.

·         To analyze each case to select a remedy or series of remedies appropriate for each individual and to monitor and evaluate patients’ progress.

·         Responsible to answering patient queries and problems, either face to face or over the phone.

·         To give instructions to patients about the use and effects of particular remedies.

·         To give advice on lifestyle issues, such as diet, exercise and mental health.

·         Collecting patient statistics.

·         Needs to fulfill the duty of instructing the patients regarding the daily dose and effects of                      

·         medicines.

·         To refer patients to other health practitioners, as appropriate and as needed.

·         Responsible to suggest proper treatment and provide suitable medicines to cure various diseases

·         paying attention to patient’s conditions.

·         To develop and review treatment programmes.

·         Liaising with other healthcare personnel to supply and receive relevant information about the

·         background and progress of patients, as well as referring patients who require other specific medical attention.

·         Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patients' problems, needs and progress.

·         Measure patients' progress regularly and adjust treatment accordingly.

·         To perform general responsibilities as health care provider, to treat all common medical  

·         conditions and refer patients to hospitals and other medical services for urgent and specialist

·         treatment.

·         To focus on the health of the whole person combining physical, psychological and social

·         aspects of care.

·         Perform dry cupping to the patients by using a vacuum on different areas of the body in order

·         to gather the blood in that area without incisions.

·         Perform wet cupping to patients, by using a vacuum at different points on the body but with incisions in order to remove harmful blood which lies just beneath the surface of the skin.

·         Have to oversee patient satisfaction, and communicate with the patients in case of complaints.

·         Have to ensure that all records of the medical facility are maintained properly and are up-to date.

·         Perform other task received from your Direct Manager.
