Sales Manager - Pressure pipes & valves

Our client, a leading European entity seeks to hire sales manager for Sharjah location. The entity being supplier of pressure pipe, fittings, and valves serving upstream drilling, shipyards and rigs, potential prospects should have gained prior experience in managing the said product and services triangulating target audience. Please find the key results area's to be eligible for the role.

KRA's

  • Identifying and establishing new business opportunities & clients.
  • Organising /Planning sales visits and circulating suitable sales calendar throughout the GCC region.
  • Liaising with existing clients and developing new clients.
  • Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets.
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs and provide after- sales support services.
  • Follow up on tenders, proposals and quotations. Keep notes on of these fully up to date utilizing the entity energy database.
  • Prepare in advance and conduct regular sales meetings and conference calls with UK.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts, terms and conditions.
  • Attending bid clarification and project ‘kick off’ meetings if required.
  • Liaising with projects engineers through term of contact to keep clients updated on orders.
  • Reviewing cost and sales performance.
  • Writing reports and developing any new sales literature.
  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and training sessions.
  • Building relationships with suppliers and developing agents /distributors in the GCC region.
  • Supporting existing agents and distributors in the GCC region.
  • Provide feedback on stock level requirements and propose any promotional items.
  • Propose and suggest any new products based upon market demands.
  • Achieving sales targets set by management and assisting in setting future targets and goals.
  • Provide market intel on competitors commercial and technical information.
