Job Summary:
Our Client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in warehouse construction, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), and steel structure projects to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documents for warehouse, PEB, and commercial building projects.
- Measure and value completed site works for Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
- Manage variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Review subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate competitive rates.
- Monitor project costs against budgets and report cost variances.
- Prepare and submit RFIs, payment applications, and procurement schedules.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams on commercial and contractual matters.
- Assist in tender submissions and respond to RFIs for ongoing tenders.
- Maintain accurate records of material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Proven experience in warehouse construction, PEB, and steel structure projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, BOQ preparation, and cost control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, basic AutoCAD, and QS software such as CostX, Candy, or similar.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
