Job Summary:
One of our clients in Abu Dhabi is looking for Draft man
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
- Experience preparing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and installation drawings.
- Knowledge of mechanical, piping, structural, or MEP drawings is preferred, depending on project requirements.
- Ability to coordinate drawings with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site teams.
- Experience in preparing drawings for water treatment, RO, STP, desalination, or industrial projects would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify drawing discrepancies and design clashes.
- Good knowledge of drawing standards, dimensions, tolerances, symbols, and revision control.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Requirements:
- 1. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Draftsman, preferably in construction, engineering, oil & gas, or water treatment projects.2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting/design software.3. Experience preparing 2D drawings, layouts, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings.
