Job Summary:

Our client is hiring an Community & Partnerships Manager to be the face of our brand in the real world. You'll build relationships with local communities, fitness centres, and event organizers to create collaborations — sponsorships, giveaways, and co-hosted experiences — that put healthy snacking in front of the right people. At the same time, you'll grow and nurture our own community of health-conscious customers, turning casual buyers into loyal advocates. This is a hybrid role: part outbound relationship-builder, part community-builder. You'll spend your time split between scouting and securing partnerships, and designing the programs, content, and touchpoints that keep our community engaged long after the event ends.As a Community & Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships and managing community engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partnerships & Collaborations
    • Identify and reach out to local communities, fitness centres, gyms, health studios, and event organizers for collaboration opportunities
    • Negotiate and manage sponsorships, product giveaways, and co-branded activations
    • Represent the brand at fitness events, expos, markets, and community gatherings
    • Build a pipeline of recurring partners rather than one-off activations
    • Track partnership performance (reach, engagement, sample-to-sale conversion) and report on ROI
    • Negotiate terms and manage simple partnership agreements, coordinating with legal/finance where needed
  • Community Growth
    • Grow our owned community of health-conscious customers across social channels, email, and in-person touchpoints
    • Plan and run community programs: ambassador programs, challenges, tastings, pop-ups, and member perks
    • Collect and channel community feedback into product and marketing decisions
    • Develop content and messaging (with the marketing team) that speaks authentically to a wellness-minded audience
    • Own community engagement metrics (growth, retention, engagement rate) and report on progress
  • Cross-functional
    • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align partnerships and community initiatives with broader brand goals
    • Propose a budget for sponsorships, giveaways, and event costs
    • Stay on top of trends in fitness, wellness, and local events to spot new opportunities early
    • Build collaboration calendar
Requirements:
    • 2–4+ years in partnerships, community management, brand partnership, or field/event marketing (ideally in food, wellness, fitness, or Consumer Packaged Goods), Influencer Marketing, Media Relations, PR, or Strategic Partnerships.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners
    • Experience growing or managing an online or offline community
    • Comfortable representing a brand in person — at events, on camera, in conversation
    • Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple partner relationships and events at once
    • Genuine interest in health, fitness, and nutrition
    • Active network across creators, agencies, media, and brand ecosystems.
    • Willingness to travel locally and work some evenings/weekends for events
