Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage small to medium-sized construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities and daily operations.
- Plan project execution strategies and coordinate resources, manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contract requirements to ensure compliance.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Monitor project costs and support budget control initiatives.
- Identify project risks, delays, and operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
- Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
- Prepare and review progress reports and project updates for management.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained and updated.
- Support project handover and close-out activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with proven experience leading construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and site management.
- Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, project controls, and quality management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid UAE driving license is required.
