Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to conduct land, topographic, boundary, and construction surveys for ongoing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing survey data, establishing site control points, preparing survey reports, and supporting engineering and construction teams to ensure project accuracy and compliance with approved plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land, topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using modern surveying equipment.
- Perform site measurements and collect field data accurately and efficiently.
- Establish reference points, benchmarks, elevations, and control networks for construction projects.
- Carry out site setting-out activities in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
- Prepare survey reports, maps, sketches, and as-built drawings.
- Verify the accuracy of survey data, calculations, and measurements.
- Interpret engineering drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, consultants, and contractors regarding survey requirements.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved layouts and survey benchmarks.
- Operate and maintain surveying instruments, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and Auto Levels.
- Maintain accurate survey records and documentation.
- Identify and resolve survey-related issues on-site.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects.
- Proficiency in using Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and other surveying equipment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other surveying software.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, site layouts, and engineering principles.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
