Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Operations Executive with a strong background in ship chandlery, specifically in technical stores supply. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of marine procurement, inventory management, and vessel supply operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end operations for ship chandlery supplies, with a focus on technical stores
- Coordinate with vessels, clients, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Source, procure, and maintain inventory of technical marine equipment and spare parts
- Prepare quotations, process orders, and handle documentation efficiently
- Ensure compliance with marine standards and client specifications
- Monitor stock levels and optimize inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Liaise with logistics teams for smooth delivery and port operations
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients
- Resolve operational issues and ensure high service quality
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in ship chandlery, preferably handling technical stores
- Strong knowledge of marine equipment, spare parts, and procurement processes
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
