Job Summary:
Our Client requires an Senior IT Officier with hands-on experience with SAP, particularly those with expertise in integrating SAP with other software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global IT Infrastructure Management
- Oversee and manage global IT infrastructure to ensure reliable performance and scalability across multiple regions, data centres, and remote offices.
- Ensure integration of global systems, networks, and applications to support business growth and operations.
- Advanced Technical Support
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex hardware, software, network, and system issues.
- Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and resolution for high‑level IT problems affecting global users.
- System and Network Administration
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade IT infrastructure including desktops, servers, laptops, printers, and network devices.
- Administer Windows OS, Microsoft 365, ERP systems, VPNs, and networking solutions.
- IT Security and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus systems, and encryption protocols.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
- Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Oversee system backups, data recovery, and conduct disaster recovery drills.
- IT Asset Management
- Manage the full IT asset lifecycle: procurement, tracking, maintenance, and disposal.
- Ensure proper licensing, inventory control, and cost optimization.
- Vendor and External Coordination
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain IT documentation including SOPs, system architecture, configurations, and incident reports.
- Provide regular reports on system performance, uptime, security, and projects.
- Global User Support and Training
- Provide user support and training on new technologies and tools.
- Develop user guides, FAQs, and knowledge‑sharing resources.
- Continuous Improvement and Technology Strategy
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and global IT trends.
- Drive automation, cloud adoption, and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldIT certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL (preferred)5–7 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT operationsAt least 2 years in a senior or supervisory roleStrong hands‑on experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking, ERP systemsExperience with helpdesk systems, IT asset management, and vendor coordination
