Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong financial expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience working within a group of companies, preferably in the civil, construction, engineering, or contracting sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and company policies
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Handle budgeting, financial planning, and cost control
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes
- Supervise and guide the accounting team (for Chief Accountant role)
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance across group entities
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant
- Group of companies’ experiences is highly preferred
- Industry experience in civil, construction, engineering, contracting, or service provider companies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) – mandatory
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
