A reputed Government entity in Abu Dhabi requires a "Human Resource Director"(UAE National) to develop and implement human resource strategies and policies to ensure that resources are available to achieve the Entity's short-, medium- and long term business plans. Major scope includes the key results area below.
Ensure that the needs of the Human Resources Department are identified and ensure fair distribution of work, conduct annual job evaluation and provide learning opportunities and staff development to ensure continuous employee motivation and high levels of productivity.
Supervising the preparation of the annual financial budget of the department and monitoring its disbursement in order to ensure adequate budget for all major initiatives in the department.
Oversee and submit progress reports to the Director of Support Services and relevant committees in relation to the activities and challenges of the Section and to make recommendations on proposed improvements.
Adherence to the regulations, rules and working methods adopted by the Academy and to the functions as described in the Job Description Manual.
Ensure that all employees of the department comply with the regulations, rules and working methods adopted by the Academy.
Ensure that all employees are under the supervision of the policies and procedures related to the activity under his supervision Organizing, coordinating and distributing the work to subordinate subordinates in a manner that ensures their high productivity.
Delegate the responsibilities and powers of subordinates and make sure that the plans and programs are implemented from their commitment to the approved procedures.
Proposing training programs for employees under his supervision both inside and outside of the Academy.
Ensure that HR plans are supportive of the academic needs and flexible to deal with changes.
Develop, review and maintain human resources policies and procedures, monitor compliance and ensure consistent and uniform handling of all employee issues.
Plan, develop and obtain approval of the workforce plan to provide the necessary resources to ensure timely implementation of the Academy's operations
Provide daily advice to other departments and departments in all human resources issues.
Training, design and implementation of a training plan with input from heads of departments / departments.
Master's degree in higher education or equivalent.
