We are currently seeking a suitable candidate for a Finance and Operations Director position with a leading Financial & Corporate Services provider based in DIFC, Dubai.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Finance business partner to Managing Director and work closely with Regional Finance Director to provide financial advice to support key business decisions
  • Be the finance advisor to business leaders, performing proper financial analysis to ensure that they fully understand how their results compare with budget; manage, track and forecast P&L
  • Oversight of the internal finance and operations function for Middle East to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

-          Accounting, finance and treasury

-          Budgets, management accounts preparation

-          Taxation

-          Annual audits and financial statement preparation

-          Invoicing and debtor management

-          Staff chargeability analysis

-          Client profitability analysis

  • Lead the preparation of internal and external financial reports, including quality review controls and liaising with auditors; ensure all reports are in compliance with Group and local authorities standards
  • Assist the MD in overseeing Operational matters, including but not limited to, business related operations and middle/back office functions
  • Enhance, optimize and implement workflow/system/operating procedures as appropriate; continuously seek synergy and process improvement opportunities
  • Drive important company initiatives and lead the relevant workstreams of integration between entities in Middle East; support ad hoc tasks as assigned
  •  Lead, develop and motivate team members for a high performing, motivated and professional team



  • Able to combine a strategic role while maintaining a very hands-on approaching paying close attention to details
  • Strong sense of professional integrity
  • A strong team player with good communication and people management skills in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
  •  MNC experience preferred
  • Experience in DIFC and/or ADGM preferred
  •  A minimum of 10-12 years’ relevant experience in financial services, preferably gained in sizable MNC/ professional services firms
  • Proven experience in acting as a financial business partner to senior management
  • Track record of achievement in operations related management advantageous
